SPECIAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

"Exceptional human beings must be given exceptional educational treatment which takes into account their special differences."

Total Communication: Currently Dr. Barbara Jordan has a Total Communications Unit that addresses the needs of students with Autism.

Resource/Inclusion: Our Resource/Inclusion class primarily addresses the needs of students that have specific learning disabilities. Resource/Inclusion students are in general education or bilingual classes and also receive services from the special education department.

Speech Therapy: Speech Therapy is provided for Jordan students that have a specific language and/or articulation disorder.
